Sophie’s Choice

We did a fashion shoot a week ago with Sophie Anderton, I wanted to shoot in a wood at night, fill it with smoke and let the beams trickle through the trees. On a hunt for the location we tried calling a few parks in South London. But apparently hanging out in a wood at night is a health and safety risk, but a friend of mine said his Dad had bought some woodland to maintain.

So we went down to the edge of Kent to do our shoot.

The shoot was about going from the darkness into light. We started in a cornfield at twilight, and moved into the wood as it got dark.

  1. How did you power those lights? I thought those kind of lights weren’t mobile.

    • I used 2 3k Generators, the kind you find on ebay for £300, Tungsten is a constant load which works well .
